Myanmar's Prime Minister visits to Vietnam

Myanmar’s Prime Minister Khin Nyunt to Vietnam?

Answer:

At the invitation of Prime Minister
Phan Van Khai, Myanmar’s Prime Minister, General Khin Nyunt will pay an official visit to Vietnam on August 9, 2004.


The
Vietnam visit is conducted as a normal practice of ASEAN leaders after taking office.

During his stay in the country, Prime Minister Khin Nyunt is scheduled to hold talks with Prime Minister Phan Van Khai and have meetings with other Vietnamese high-ranking leaders. The visit is aimed at exchanging views on directions to promote the bilateral friendship and cooperation and on regional and international issues of mutual concern.
