Question: Could you confirm the information that Prime Minister Phan Van Khai will pay an official visit to the US next summer? If so, please provide time and details?
Answer:
Over the past time, there has been progress in Vietnam-US relations. The two sides have increased contacts and dialogues between high-level leaders, ministries and agencies in order to promote mutual understanding and develop relations in a stable and long-term framework in the future.
We are confident that such multi-level contacts will continue in the time to come./.
