Question from AFP correspondent: Please advise Vietnam's reaction to the victory of British Prime Minister Tony Blair in the running for British Prime Minister and to become British Prime Minister for the third time?

We would like to congratulate Prime Minister Tony Blair on winning in the recent election for British Prime Minister and assuming the post of Prime Minister for the third consecutive term.
Over the past two terms of Prime Minister Tony Blair, the relationship between Vietnam and the U.K has seen fine developments. We hope that in his coming term, the two countries' relationship will be further consolidated and developed in the interests of the two peoples, for the sake of peace, stability, cooperation and development in the region and the world.
