Question: What is Vietnam's reaction on the news of Nguyen Huu Chanh's arrest?
Answer: Vietnamese law enforcement agencies have not received any official information on this matter.
The so-called "Free Vietnam" organization, which is based in the US and headed by Nguyen Huu Chanh, is in fact a group of criminals who undertake terrorist activities against Vietnam.
The Vietnamese Ministry of Public Security has issued an arrest warrant for Nguyen Huu Chanh as the head of that terrorist group for his terrorist activities. The Interpol Office has also issued an international arrest warrant for Nguyen Huu Chanh with the charge of weapon trafficking and terrorism.
Being an Interpol member, Vietnam has been actively cooperated with other countries in fighting against criminal and terrorist activities. We have asked related countries to cooperate in preventing and seriously punishing those who perform terrorist plot or acts against Vietnam./.
