Question : Please advise Vietnam's commment on the shooting of a Chinese fishing boat in the Eastern Sea (near the Philippines)?

What happened is highly regrettable. It is our view that in the spirit of the Declaration on the Conduct of Parties in the Eastern Sea, all relevant parties should adopt active measures to maintain peace and stability in the region, creating a favourable environment for peaceful resolution of disputes and promotion of regional cooperation.
