Question: Please provide Vietnam’s reaction to the escalating tension between Israel and Palestin in the Gaza strip and the West Bank of Jordan river recently?
Answer:
Viet Nam supports every effort to accelerate the peace process in the Middle East in order to reach an just and lasting settlment on the basis of respect for legitimate interests of parties concerned and the fundamental rights of the Palestinian to establish an independent Palestinian state.
In that spirit, we call on parties concerned to exercise restraint and immediately stop military activities so as not to harm innocent civilians.
