Question: Please give us Vietnam’s comment on the current tension on the Cambodian – Thai border?
Answers: We follow very closely and are concerned about the current tension on the Cambodian – Thai border area.
It is our desire that the two sides exercise restraint, refrain from using force and try to settle outstanding issues through peaceful means in the spirit of ASEAN friendship and solidarity, in the interests of the two countries and those of peace, stability and development in the region.
