About the appointment Dato’ Seri Mohammed Najib bin Tun Abdul Razak as Prime Minister of Malaysia
On 03 April 2009, in response to questions about the appointment Dato’ Seri Mohammed Najib bin Tun Abdul Razak as Prime Minister of Malaysia, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs’ Spokesman Le Dzung said:
Vietnam congratulates Dato’ Seri Mohammed Najib bin Tun Abdul Razak on his appointment as Prime Minister of Malaysia. We hope that under the leadership of Dato’ Seri Mohammed Najib bin Tun Abdul Razak, the Malaysian Government will continue to lead Malaysia to prosperity and development, become an advanced industrialized country and actively contribute to peace, stability, cooperation and development in the region and the world.
We also hope that the existing fine friendship and comprehensive cooperation between Vietnam and Malaysia will be further consolidated and developed in the years to come.
