Regarding the routine naval training of the Viet Nam Navy.
On June 10th, 2011, in response to question from the media concerning the live-fire drill by Viet Nam Navy in the waters adjacent to Hon Ong islet, Quang Nam Province on June 13th, Foreign Ministry Spokeswoman Nguyen Phuong Nga said:
“It’s a routine annual training activitiy of the Viet Nam Navy in the area where the Viet Nam Navy regularly conducts training that are programmed and planned annually for units in the Vietnam People’s Military.”
