Remarks by FM Spokesman Luong Thanh Nghi on 31 December 2013
In response to question from the media regarding Viet Nam’s reaction to the recent visit to Yasukuni Shrine by Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe, Foreign Ministry Spokesman Luong Thanh Nghi on 31 December 2013 said:
“We have followed this issue and heard explanation from the Japanese side on it. Viet Nam wishes Japan properly handles this issue, for the sake of peace, stability and cooperation in the region.”
