Remarks of MOFA Deputy Spokesperson Pham Thu Hang on the avalanche in Nepal
Responding to reporters’ question regarding the avalanche in Nepal, MOFA Deputy Spokesperson Pham Thu Hang stated:
“According to the Vietnamese Embassy in India and Nepal, on 21 October 2014, the Embassy of Nepal in India confirmed that there is no Vietnamese citizen listed among the victims dead in the avalanche on 15 October 2014. Regarding the Vietnamese citizens who enrolled for hiking in late September and early October and are now unable to contact, the Embassy of Nepal informed that Nepali authorities are working actively to verify the actual status of these people.”
