Remarks by MOFA Spokesperson Le Hai Binh on the election of H.E. Mr. Frank-Walter Steinmeier as President of Germany
On 15 February 2017, MOFA Spokesperson Mr. Le Hai Binh makes the following remarks on the election of H.E. Mr. Frank-Walter Steinmeier as President of Germany from 2017 - 2022:
“Viet Nam wishes to extend its congratulations to H.E. Mr. Frank-Walter Steinmeier on his election as President of Germany from 2017 to 2012. We firmly believe that in his new position, President Frank-Walter Steinmeier will continue to support the strengthening of the strategic partnership between Viet Nam and Germany, making contributions to the further substantive and efficient development of our bilateral ties for the interests of our two peoples.
On 15 February 2017, President Tran Dai Quang sent his letter of congratulations to H.E. Mr. Frank-Walter Steinmeier.”
