Remarks by MOFA Spokesperson Le Hai Binh on Viet Nam’s reaction to the terror attack in the UK on March 23rd 2017
“Viet Nam would like to convey the deepest condolences to the British government, people and families of the victims of the March 23rd 2017 terror attack. Viet Nam strongly condemns all acts of terrorism in all forms.”
Mr. Le Hai Binh also informed the media on whether there was any Vietnamese victim in the attack:
“Immediately after the attack happened, under the MOFA’s instruction, the Embassy of Viet Nam in the UK urgently contacted the local authorities to update the situation. The Embassy informed that there has been no Vietnamese victim in the attack. The Embassy has been working with the British authorities, closely following up the situation to timely assist Vietnamese in need of help.”
