(MOFA) - On 9 April 2020, at the regular press conference of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, in response to a reporter’s question Concerning the assistance provided to foreign representative missions in Viet Nam in repatriating their citizens, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Spokesperson Le Thi Thu Hang stated:

Viet Nam offers support to foreign representative missions in their work of citizen protection, and greatly facilitates the repatriation of foreigners who have encountered  difficulties in finding their ways home. 

Recently, Viet Nam has given support to and worked closely with several foreign representative missions in Viet Nam in organizing flights to repatriate European citizens. In the coming time, we will continue to facilitate the repatriation of foreigners in compliance with the laws and regulations of Viet Nam, including  those on disease prevention  and control.
