(MOFA) - On 18 June 2020, responding to a reporter’s question concerning the possibility of Viet Nam resuming travel with other countries since Viet Nam has initially controlled the pandemic, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Spokesperson Le Thi Thu Hang stated:

Based on the current situation and the needs of both sides, Viet Nam is currently engaging with several countries such as China, the Republic of Korea and Japan to discuss the possibility ofgradual gradual resumption of international travel,  provided that Viet Nam’s disease prevention measures and their specifics are observed to ensure that the pandemic shall not be spread. In the short term, this means facilitating experts and managers from these countries returning to Viet Nam, and Vietnamese interns and workers traveling to these countries for work./.
