Remarks by the Spokesperson of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Viet Nam Le Thi Thu Hang regarding the new Prime Minister of Japan
(MOFA) - On 4 October 2021, in response to a reporter’s question regarding the new Prime Minister of Japan, Ms. Le Thi Thu Hang, Spokesperson of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Viet Nam, stated that:
“Viet Nam wishes to congratulate Mr. Kishida Fumio on being elected as the 100th Prime Minister of Japan. We are confident that under his able leadership, Japan will continue to prosper, bringing about greater happiness for its people.
Viet Nam always attaches importance to its friendship and cooperation with Japan, and hopes to closely cooperate with the new Japanese Prime Minister and Government to elevate the Viet Nam - Japan Extensive Strategic Partnership to new heights, for the interest of the two peoples, and for peace, stability, cooperation and development in the region and the world.”
